so Tennessee wasn't as bad as I thought. The weather is mostly pleasant, unlike bipolar Florida weather. But I was not pleased with tight schedules. You HAVE to go to sleep at 12, wake up at 6, eat breakfast at 7, go to a session at 8:30, have quiet time at 10, have a special class at 10:30, lunch at noon, free time from 1-5, dinner at 5, main session at 7, youth group time at 10, and be in your room at 11. Fuck that. No sleep. I like sleep, and you won't let me have any? Fuck you! I also decided I hate the outdoors and people complaining about me being a materialist.
But I did walk away with:
-some rocks
-a drumstick
-a hatred for nature
-an awareness of sex trafficking in Cambodia
-a T-shirt that while it's comfy I will probably never wear it again
-a T-shirt that I bought for $3 at Wal-Mart that I will probably live in
-a bruise on my shoulder

Yeah, memories...
Another thing I hate is the South. Living in it especially, and with all its stereotypes. Everyone around me talking in fake Southern accents. And all the yeehaw-ing. Unnecessary. On the bright side, though, we were always treated to delicious Southern food at the campsite. I thought it was rather tasty. Except for the macaroni...something was just off about that shit.
Devonne is coming over on Thursday and we're going to have a huge Harry Potter party...for two. We're seeing the first five movies, she's sleeping over, and then Friday we're seeing Half-Blood Prince. That sounds like good times to me. I'm not a huge HP fan like she is but she will convert me. That will happen. And plus, it's a nice time with my best friend before we go to Sea World before she goes off to college in Chicago and I don't get to see her. And I love movies. I gave Grandma back all her Disney movies...I wasn't going to watch any of them.
I should clean my room.
Better yet. I should start my orientation.
xoxo
